Pre‑Booked Private Transport 

Travel in comfort with Kiwi Kabs – your safe, affordable, and professional transport service based in Katikati. We are fully licensed and committed to providing reliable, friendly service.

Kiwi Kabs is not a traditional taxi service. We operate as a pre‑booked private transport provider with fixed fares, so you always know the cost of your trip upfront.

To keep our service sustainable, we only offer transport where Katikati is the pickup or drop‑off location. We do not service Waihi Beach or Waihi, as these areas are no longer viable for us to cover.

All trips must be pre‑booked during office hours, and once booked, your transport will be completed at the scheduled time.

Our fleet includes three Toyota Camrys, one Skoda Superb, two 11‑seat vans, one 9‑seat van, and a Nissan Serena. We also offer wheelchair‑accessible transport:

• Ford Transit (hoist) – carries two wheelchair passengers + three additional passengers, or eleven passengers without wheelchairs

• Nissan Serena – carries one wheelchair passenger + one additional passenger, or up to five passengers without wheelchairs

For every trip, simply provide your pickup location and destination — we’ll give you a fixed fare with no surprises.

Airport Transfers

Personalised Door to Door Service

Our airport transfer service takes the hassle out of getting to and from the Western Bay of Plenty to the Airport of your choice.  With Kiwi Kabs you are our only client, we pick you up at an agreed time, from your address, and take you to the airport in time for your check in.  On your return, we will meet you at the airport and take you home.  We will stop for comport stops or to pick up essential grocery items, if required.  We always cater to your needs.  Have mobility issues? No problem, we can assist with wheelchair accessible vehicles and fully qualified drivers.

Through Total Mobility, eligible clients receive friendly, safe, reliable, door‑to‑door transport with Kiwi Kabs, your approved provider based in Katikati. This service gives independence back to those who can’t drive, and peace of mind to families who simply want their loved ones to travel safely.

With a Total Mobility card, members receive a 65% subsidy on every trip — up to $29.25 off per journey (65% off a $45 fare). That’s not just helpful… it’s life‑changing for many households.

To access the scheme, an assessment is required through an approved agency. Here in Katikati, the Katikati Community Centre can guide you through the process and help you get started.

Wedding Transport

We provide wedding transport for your family & friends, to and from your venue.  We have several vehicles available including a 23-passenger seater bus, 2 x 11-passenger seater vans and 4 cars.  

We pick everyone up from their designated address and take to the venue/s then drop them home safely at the end of the night.

All we ask from you is a name and phone number of each addresse to be provided 3 days prior to your wedding.

Pricing depends on number of passengers, vehicles required, and distance of travel so please get in touch so we can personalise a quote for your exact needs.

We service Waihi, Waihi Beach, Athenree, Tahawai, Katikati, Aongatete.

We provide transport for any event, including birthdays, sport matches, music concerts and more.  
We have several vehicles available including 2 x 11-passenger seat vans, 1 x 9-passenger seat van and 4 cars.

Town Connector Route 85
